What you can do to help

The mission of No More Homeless Pets of the Triad is end pet overpopulation and animal cruelty by assisting our Alliance partners (humane groups, animal shelters and veterinarians) in achieving their respective missions, forming programs that are not already in place that complement existing initiatives and creating broad community awareness of the benefits to our Companion animals, children and community of solving this problem. Our goal is for every healthy dog and cat to have a loving home.

We always need volunteers. We need dedicated volunteers every week to help with a multitude of activities in our programs or in programs of our affiliated partners. Listed below are our committees and projects that need volunteers.

Triad, North Carolina volunteers only, please—volunteers from areas around the country should visit bestfriends.org and find the NMHP program closest to them.

Foster Parent Program
Last year the groups with whom we have formed an affiliation fostered and found adoptive families for many animals but many more died because there weren't enough homes. You can help us change that.

In no time at all you'll be assisting in a critical area of our mission to end homelessness and pet overpopulation. You can choose the type of animal that you foster (canine or feline) and whether you want to be involved in specialized programs like Special Friends (helping place pets surrendered by terminally ill or deceased owners). You can also be a part of helping sick or injured animals or animals surrendered (either temporarily or permanently) because of domestic violence. Most affiliates provide the food and veterinary care while you are fosterng. We need you to provide the love and care!

If you become a Foster Caretaker, you'll have the power to save lives, just by taking a sick, injured or young animal or animals into your home until they're ready for adoption.

Our partners will find them a home for life if you can find a temporary place in your home. And in your heart. Get into the Saving Lives Business. And tell your friends!

YOUR DOLLARS CAN SAVE LIVES, TOO!
No time? No room? No problem! When you give money to Foster Care, you're helping to save lives too!
